Executive Coaching is a collaborative yet individual relationship between an executive and a coach, the aim of which is to bring about a sustained behavioral change that transforms the quality of the executives working and personal life. Although the focus is on the executives work-life, coaching sessions frequently focus on interpersonal development, personal change and transformation. Executive coaching developed out of executive leadership program's during the late 1980's. Areas that are covered include: leadership development; interpersonal and communication skills; career coaching and career development; specific skills coaching (like sales techniques or negotiation skills); achieving high performance; time management and problem solving.
Business Mentoring is often confused with or used interchangeably with coaching. Mentoring is a neutral way of passing on knowledge, skill and experiences to others by someone who is usually older and wiser with a broad life experience and/or specific expertise. Traditionally mentoring was a hierarchical relationship where a wise senior dispensed wisdom, knowledge and advice to less powerful underling. In modern relationships, there is a more mutual, equal and collaborative learning experience. ZFC uses mentoring as the key approach when working with clients in implementing strategy or working as a non-executive director in a private company.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming
NLP studies the way people take in information from the world, how they describe it to themselves through their senses, filter it with their beliefs and values, and act on the result. NLP is also a methodology for replicating the talents of highly capable individuals from many different fields of endeavor. The original research was conducted by Dr John Grinder, a linguistics professor and Dr Richard Bandler, a computer scientist. ZFC uses NLP in ensuring we not only understand our clients way of thinking but also how we can influence them in improving the outcomes they are seeking. NLP is fast becoming the cornerstone of modern coaching particularly in helping individuals address self limiting beliefs, assisting with communication skills and dealing with conflict or the lack of resourcefulness.
